Mangos Indian & Bangladeshi cuisine

362-364 Ballards Ln, London N12 0EE, UK – 020 8446 5004

Ordered from here several times, making an order right now in fact! They're really good, kind, offer good discounts and often throw in extra bits and pieces. Good prices, will continue ordering from them.

Thought we'd try this out based on the reviews on here. Not disappointed! Food was really great and the waiter made some good recommendations when I couldn't decide what I wanted. 2 of us ate and we ordered a fair bit of food, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable bill. Decor is nice and clean, very minimal and modern. Service was fast, and the staff are really helpful too. Would definitely recommend this place!

Taste of Nawab

97 Colney Hatch Ln, London N10 1LR, UK – 020 8883 6429

Superb food! Abdul and his team supplied delicious food for a 70-person hot buffet for our party. He loaned us and set up electric food warmers earlier in the evening and then delivered the hot dishes in stainless steel containers at the agreed time. We were ready to serve in minutes! The following day Abdul came and collected everything personally. The dishes were all delicious and, without exception, our guests were very complimentary about the superb food. It is always a pleasure dealing with Abdul and an even greater pleasure eating his fabulous food, which we have been doing for over 20 years. This is the second party he has catered for us and both experiences have been excellent. I highly recommend his restaurant to eat in, take away or cater for your event. Thanks Abdul for helping to make our party a very special occasion. Aidan

1st time at Taste of Nawab, and to say that I was impressed is an understatement. The food tasted amazing and the service is impeccable. It is definitely a go to for 5 star food and service and if you haven’t tried it, you don’t know what you are missing.

Zizzi Finchley

202-208 Regents Park Rd, London N3 3HP, UK – 020 3719 4452

This review is mainly for customer service especially a lady called Jitka who was forever smiling and pleasant and probably one of the most hardworking members of staff. The manager of the branch was also very good and generally it set up great. The food was really good and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Would come back here again and again 🙌🏽

The rissotto was delicious and the sweet quite the same. The place is clean with a very pleasant atmosphere. The attention prompt and polite. Complete recipe. We will definitely go back.

Best Reviewed Indian Restaurants and Takeaways in Moss Hall Infant School or in Barnet area

Indian Rasoi Restaurant

7 Fortis Green, London N2 9HG, UK – 020 8883 9093

Always friendly and effective service and always great food. Will always recommend this place. Go enjoy!

Pleasantly Surprised! I had read a lot for reviews about the restaurant on line and many reviewers had recently been upset about the service, I rang and ordered a take away - I was told to expect it to be around 40 mins, when I got to the restaurant 5 minutes before time - I was politely asked to take a seat,(I also have to say that every table in the restaurant was reserved). I was only waiting for a couple of minutes before my bagged order was handed over. The food was great, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely use again. I think people need to recognise that perhaps the food cook time takes a little longer as everything tasted like it had been freshly prepared, not just taken out of the freezer. So if you decide to visit - be prepared for a longer wait on food as quality takes time! It's also not going to everyone's taste as some of the dishes do feel like they have a similar sauce base and the portions are smaller but personally I think just as filling.

Asoos Restaurant

828 High Rd, North Finchley, London N12 9RA, UK – 020 8445 4457

A lovely restaurant with very nice decor and lights. The starters are ok, the only downfall is that they put too much spices in the meat. The main course dishes are very good, much better than the starters. They also have a good choice of spirits and the draft beer tastes good. The staff are very helpful and provide good customer service. Thank you for a lovely evening.

A brilliant night out to celebrate a birthday. Delicious food as always and everyone enjoyed every dish. Hospitality like no other! That's going to come here again!😗😁

Cochin

54 Ballards Ln, London N3 2BU, UK – 020 8346 1685

Tasty Indian food with a great ambience to dine out with friends & family. Outstanding service and excellent staff. Well recommended for food lovers.

Very, very satisfied. Some of the best Indian cuisine I have had in London! Prices are good, service was fast, waiters and manager asked me a few times if everything was OK, food was delicious! Will definitely be coming here again!

Best Reviewed Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

Da Franco Ristorante Italiano

30 Queens Parade, Friern Barnet Rd, London N11 3DA, UK – 020 8368 6224

Fantastic little restaurant. Really friendly and professional staff. Tasty food served in nice portions able to fill you up. Great deal for visiting. Parking spaces are easy to find in nearby roads where is no restrictions. I loved my visit there. We had a very important party and owner did it for us on fantastic way. Even he got cake for us which was awesome. I'm sure I'll be back there not only once

The best Italian restaurant in North London. Great food. Great service. Recommended for any occasion, any night.

La Rugoletta

59 Church Ln, East Finchley, London N2 8DR, UK – 020 8815 1743

Rustic cafe style pasta pizza etc. Just had mains decided not to have anything else, desserts did not really tempt. Quite tasty but unrefined menu. No licence so staff suggested we cross the road to small off licence/general store for wine or beer. Charged corkage for two cans of beer! Very friendly helpfull staff.

Great pizza and great calzone, and super fast service! I'm looking forwards to coming back. I hear the sea bass is amazing and I definitely want to try it. The pasta looks great too! Just so you know: this is a bring your own, so there's no wine or beer on the menu, which is great IMHO.

Carluccio's

291-293 Muswell Hill Broadway, London N10 1BY, UK – 020 8815 1946

Carluccios is one of the most mediocre food establishments I've been to. The food there is semi decent but is a bit of a gamble depending on what you order. The time that I went most recently I ordered the stake and it was not very good I ordered it medium rare and it came rare it was chewy and the sauce was watery and not that nice. The potatoes served with It weren't very well cooked and were a bit soggy. The price was way to overpriced and is one of the worst places in muswell hill due to its mediocre quality and overpriced menu.

The food is good but would benefit from more fresh sides. Lovely selection of fragrant olis

Mossy Well

The Village, 258 Muswell Hill Broadway, London N10 3SH, UK – 020 8444 2914

This was the first ever Wetherspoons and is one of the biggest I've ever seen. They have numerous different areas to sit in, all with their unique feel and ambiance including both a front and rear garden / terrace. Drinks were excellent quality and VERY cheap for London. Amazing spirit selection (particularly the Gin) and they even offer the order on your app, bring to your table service which was INCREDIBLE and delivered fast and with a smile. Couldn't fault our experience and we will be back. Only loses a dot as it wasn't overwhelmingly busy when we visited and the tables (particularly in the rear garden) hadn't been cleared for a while - but genuinely, a GREAT pub.

Lovely atmosphere an great hospitality when entering also to namely say in a very nice location on and around muswell hill with plenty of space for dining or having a quick drink and bite at the bar. With plenty of places around to park up. Lovely food and great toilets just to say really nice always a nice addition to a restaurant and pub. Would definitely recommend this as I go regularly!

La Lluna

462 Muswell Hill Broadway, London N10 1BS, UK – 020 8442 2662

The interior was really lovely, very bright and open with a lovely modern twist. The service was fab, very polite and attentive staff. The real showcase of this place was the food though! The food was gorgeous, really tasty and authentic Spanish food at (what I believe to be) an extremely reasonable price, especially for what you get. I can’t wait to come back with more people!

Potentially, if not definitely, the best restaurant in Muswell Hill! No kidding... The quality of food and service are hard to beat. Good sized portions, wonderfully rich in depth, and separation of flavour, beautifully presented and very quick to arrive at the table (and quick to be cleared once consumed.) The staff are warm, friendly and relaxed whilst also being very alert and attentive, but not overly pushy. The ambience was spot on and the whole delivery of experience was very well done. It isn’t ‘fancy’ (for lack of a better word) but just extremely well executed and a tick in all the right boxes for nailing the basics. I can’t commend or recommend this place highly enough. For a first time experience, the establishment as a whole, did a fantastic job and really impressed from start to finish. A regular customer gained, and a very happy one at that... Bravo.

Barnet Chinese Restaurants

Man Chui III Chinese Restaurant

84 Ballards Ln, London N3 2DL, UK – 020 8349 2400

Acceptable food, not great and not worth a repeat visit.. Quick service but felt like the waiting staff were a bit too attentive. Several of them seemed to be hanging around only metres from the table and constantly passing by. Overall it was ok and reasonably priced, good portion sizes but the dishes were all very similar and some didn't seem that fresh, the tempura was dry and looked like it had been standing under a lamp for a couple of hours. Could do much better in Finchley.

This is a really splendid restaurant, a jewel among the indifferent restaurants of North London. Sadly, a discontented and malicious customer has recently orchestrated a campaign of negative reviews which are fake news, pure fiction. What do you call a customer who tries to get away with not paying a bill of less than £9? The person eventually paid when threatened with the police. Now there are all these rubbish reviews by this unfortunate person and her louche friends (unless they are fake people, of course).

Xian Restaurant

862 High Rd, North Finchley, London N12 9RH, UK – 020 8445 8125

A really great little restaurant. Decor is slightly dated but service is friendly and the food is amazing!

Good food with good service.

NEW HAPPY SWAN CHINESE RESTAURANT

120 Fortis Green Rd, London N10 3HN, UK – 020 8883 2810

Lovely family owned Chinese restaurant and take away. The restaurant itself is quite small and quaintly old school. Food is excellent and usually very fast service. Offers a range of set meals for 2/4/6 people which are good value for money. Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Smashing little place.

My favorite Chinese restaurant. Friendly staff and good food. I've been eating there for years and have never been disappointed

Barnet Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

wagamama finchley

Chaplin square, Leisure Way, London N12 0GL, UK – 020 8446 9084

Appetizing meals and fantastic services. Great value for money. If you are looking for a good quality Japanese restaurant, this is the place to go to. Will definitely return here after such a brilliant experience. A huge thank you to all the staff! You did an amazing job! Well done! Keep it up! You deserve many awards!

Regular place when I visit the cinema next door. Staff always friendly. And lovely food

Meera's Xpress

143 - 145 Ballards Ln, Finchley, London N3 1LJ, UK – 020 8371 8677

Food is good! Authentic Indian food! 👍🏻 good for takeaway. Only thing is you gotta carry cash!

Excellent food. Great service and always welcoming , prompt. The lady taking the orders is always smiling and executes orders in a timely manner and very friendly. I'm a regular and have no complains about the service each and everytime. Great value for money. Portions are big compared to similar takeaways. Would highly recommend.

Pepe's Piri Piri

22 Ballards Ln, London N3 2BJ, UK – 020 8371 6678

Food is great, my usual order is for a Chicken Wrap or a Burrito and they are always fresh, hot, well filled, and delicious. Love how you can select the spice level for the chicken. Onion Rings and Mozzarella Sticks are also always hot, fresh, and tasty. In some regards, this place is better than McDonald's - you get more Onion Rings or Mozzarella Sticks for about the same price, and the food is fresher! Highly recommended.

Very delicious chicken grilled. Addicted to chicken and rice!! Must try. Their garlic sauce is the best garlic sauce ever. Very nice and friendly staff

The Bohemia

762-764 High Rd, London N12 9QH, UK – 020 8446 0294

A great venue for a chilled night and drinks with friends. This huge pub/bar has a wide selection of craft beers, ciders, gins and more. Housed in an old cinema (I think...), It's got an amazing feel to the place with quirky industrial design and lots of theatre/cinema style props to boot including lights and more. In the large basement area, they have ping pong and table football. Plenty of seating elsewhere including a small outside area at the front. Worth a visit.

I love this pub. Staff are great and unlike the other pubs in the area they retain staff who obviously take pride in their jobs. They brew their beer and the food is great especially Sunday roast. A real community pub hosting many events and live music . Dogs kids elderly and arty people all hang out together. Zero trouble here - they keep out any trouble makers by not selling super cheap booze. Well done Bohemia. You brought this iconic building back to life.

Toolans

866 High Rd, North Finchley, London N12 9RH, UK – 020 8343 8988

A friendly well run Irish themed pub. A limited but tasty well priced menu. Single lager option for c. £3.00 plus the usual brands. Has a small beer garden with tables and chairs at the rear and a similar al fresco option at the front. Covers sports, live music, and Nancy offers free bar snacks on certain days. Recommended.

A proper boozer, great staff and a friendly atmosphere. Also great for a late drink. 2 am license

Joiners Arms

51 Ballards Ln, London N3 1XP, UK – 020 8349 3691

A very aptly named pub. Frequented by those in the construction industry. Like many pubs in the area the clientele is largely male but normally very good natured. Large open areas front and back. They have cheap meals of decent quality for the price.

Nice comfortable pub with good food and nice choicest of beer. TheCO2 was being delivered today so no problem with keg drinks.
